Investing Basic

Hello world!

Hello World!

Hello and welcome to Investing Basic.

As the name implies, Investing Basic is, well, all about the basics of investing; It is investing-for-dummies sort of thing.

This very first post of Investing Basic won’t cover much on anything importance about investing, but please allow me to share one thing – investing in knowledge is probably your biggest investment of all.

In investing, just like in any other areas in life, your success is determined not on how advanced the tools you have, but how you use those tools to benefit you more. Having the right tools without the right knowledge could even caused you to lose your money.

In investing, it is not important to have a lot of money to invest. The most important thing is how to leverage you money, no matter how much you have, so that the money will work harder for you. Work harder means yielding more returns, and put more money in your pocket.

Saying the above, I believe that someone can make money with no money – this is the life skill you and I should acquire and implement.

I mentioned about tools above – what I meant by tools are other people money and leverages.

Those two will be explained better in Investing Basic’s future posts, but in short, other people money includes an investment made by an investor or your borrowed money that is usually given by a lender (bank, relatives, etc.) to you that should be re-paid within a certain time frame, at a certain amount of interest rate.

Leverages are things that can help you, in essence, get more money – Other people’s money is one of them. Some other examples of leverages are the law’s (legitimate) loopholes and market situations.

Overwhelming, maybe. But that’s why this blog is here to stay – I will cover investing basics without the fluff and jargon – to help you grasp the concept faster and to decide what to do next quicker.

So, stay tuned, and make sure you subscribe to Investing Basic’s updates to receive latest articles release directly from your Email Inbox or RSS Reader.
